Dr. Agnese Bergholde-Wolf studied art history, Baltic philology and Eastern European history in Münster i.W. The German-Latvian art historian completed her doctorate in 2011 in Riga on the medieval sculpture and architecture of Riga Cathedral. Since 2015 she has worked in the image archive of the Herder Institute for Historical Research on East Central Europe in Marburg. Her research interests include the (medieval) art and architectural history of East Central Europe, especially the Baltic region.
